CAREPAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using our caregiver booking services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. SERVICE AGREEMENT

CarePal acts as a facilitator connecting clients with qualified caregivers. We do not directly employ the caregivers but ensure they are vetted, qualified, and suited to provide the requested services.

2. BOOKING AND CANCELLATION

- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance when possible.

- Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled service to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost.

- CarePal reserves the right to charge the full service fee for no-shows or cancellations with less than 4 hours' notice.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

- Payment is due at the time of service or as per agreed payment terms.

- Rates are as specified at the time of booking and may vary based on service type, duration, and specific requirements.

- Additional charges may apply for extended hours, public holidays, or specialized services.

4. CAREGIVER CONDUCT

Our caregivers are expected to:

- Arrive on time and be prepared for the assigned duties.

- Treat clients with respect, dignity, and maintain confidentiality.

- Follow all care plans and instructions as provided.

- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines.

5. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients are expected to:

- Provide accurate information about care needs and medical conditions.

- Maintain a safe environment for the caregiver to work in.

- Treat caregivers with respect and dignity.

- Communicate any concerns or changes in care needs promptly.

6. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

- CarePal maintains appropriate insurance coverage for its operations.

- CarePal is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from caregiver actions outside the scope of their assigned duties.

- Clients are advised to maintain their own insurance coverage for personal and property protection.

7. CONFIDENTIALITY

- All client information is kept confidential and used only for the purpose of providing appropriate care services.

- CarePal adheres to all applicable privacy laws and regulations.

8. TERMINATION OF SERVICES

- Either party may terminate services with appropriate notice as specified in the service agreement.

- CarePal reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of client misconduct, unsafe conditions, or non-payment.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

CarePal reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be available on our website and will apply to all future bookings.
